The teacher
My name is Tina Alexiou. I m a Greek native teacher and i have a BA in Modern Greek philology and Literature from the National & Kapodistrian Univeristy of Athens.i am a licenced Modern Greek teacher I have been teaching since 2000 in schools but also as a private tutor. The last 5 years i have been teaching also via Skype.
My approach depends on each individual's needs.Some people want to learn Greek for Business reasons, some others as a hobby or to build up their conversational and writing skills and learn a new language. As each student is unique, has his own needs and pace i fully adjust and together we find the right way to make the lesson effective and interesting. My goal is to help the student to learn not only the language but also to get into the Greek culture. I use technology during lessons and provide my students with extra material if needed .
